Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, as well as a teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was born to a British father and an Turkish-born mother from England. While still a small child, she was featured in commercials of various kinds.
